Standard Terms of Booking & Treatment
1. Booking
Appointments may be booked online and/or by contacting the therapist by telephone, SMS or email.
2. Payment
Accepted Forms of Payment

- credit/debit card
- bank transfer (by prior agreement and at therapist’s discretion)
Payment for Single Treatments
For existing clients: payment is due in full at the time of the appointment. Under certain circumstances and at their discretion, the therapist reserves the right to ask for payment in advance to secure a booking.
For new clients: payment is required in advance in order to confirm the appointment. When bookings are made by methods other than the online booking system (where immediate payment is required) e.g. telephone, if no payment is received within 48hrs of the booking, the appointment will be rendered void. (If the appointment was booked less than 48hrs in advance of the appointment, payment must be made within two hours of the booking). This amount is refundable or transferrable* to an alternative appointment up until 24 hours before the appointment time.
*for a maximum of two reschedules and within 8 weeks of payment date.
Payment for Multiple Treatments
Multiple sessions must be paid for in full at the time of booking.
3. Gift Vouchers
Treatment gift vouchers are valid for a period of three calendar months from the date of payment. They are transferrable only by prior agreement with and at the discretion of the therapist. Where a gift voucher is offered as a prize, the same terms apply as for items that have been paid for. Apart from the elements outlined in this section, appointments booked using a gift voucher are subject to all other terms and conditions relating to treatments.
4. Refunds
Requests for refunds relating to are considered strictly at the therapist’s discretion. To qualify for a refund, the client must submit a request in writing no less than 48hours before the date of the appointment.
If a refund is approved, it is calculated on the basis of the original cost of the treatment, less the following:
A set administration cost of £40
Refunds are made to the card used by the client for the original payment. Where payment is made in cash or BACS transfer, they are made by BACS transfer.
*If cancellation by the therapist (due to illness/family emergency etc) affects the client’s ability to use that session within the allotted time period, that appointment will be rescheduled at the earliest mutually acceptable slot after the period has expired.
5. Appointment Cancellation
At least 24 hours’ notice of cancellation is required, except in the case of an emergency+. Failure to do so will result in a cancellation charge for the full cost of the treatment.
+ It is at the discretion of the therapist to determine a waiver of the terms in such circumstances.
6. Arrival for Appointments
Arriving after the scheduled start of the appointment will result in a reduction in the length of treatment. If late arrival exceeds thirty minutes after the scheduled start of the appointment, the therapist reserves the right to cancel the appointment, at which point the conditions regarding appointment cancellations will apply.
7. Client Conduct
Inappropriate conduct on the part of the client will result in the immediate cessation of the treatment and the client being asked to leave the premises. Such conduct includes but is not limited to:
- inappropriate language and/or physical contact with the therapist
- abusive language
- threatening behaviour
8. Confidentiality
Client records are kept in accordance with GDPR and the relevant UK legislation governing data protection (full details can be supplied on request). Any information shared by the client with the therapist in the course of an appointment and in both written and verbal correspondence will not be released to a third person without the written permission of the client, with the following exceptions:
- If the client is deemed to be at risk of causing harm to themselves or another person
- If instructed by court order
